Jillian Kinsey

Fueled by a lifelong passion for writing and inspired by an English teacher mother who was never without her trusty red pen, Jillian Kinsey founded Red Pen Wench in 2014. The business was born from a desire to assist professionals of all levels with the ever-stressful job search process.

Over the last decade, Jillian has crafted hundreds of resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles for professionals across a diverse range of industries around the world. In addition to writing and consulting, Jillian presents in-person and virtual workshops on resume writing, LinkedIn optimization, and job search best practices.

Jillian studied Communication at Villanova University and is a PARWCC Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW). She is also the host of the Red Pen Wench YouTube channel and a SAG-AFTRA actress with an A.A. in Acting from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC.

Interview Coach & Resume Writer — Dana Kinsey, CIC

Dana Kinsey is a teacher and writer with over 20 years of experience. After publishing in literary journals and national magazines as a multi-genre author, designing a writing lab she currently runs, and teaching speech and theater, she joined the Red Pen Wench team in 2022 and became a PARWCC Certified Interview Coach (CIC) in 2023.

Dana holds a B.A. in English and Communications from King’s College, Secondary English Teacher Certification in PA, and an M.A. in Theatre Arts from Villanova University.

James Simenc is a versatile entrepreneur and creative professional with a career spanning business leadership, film production, acting, voice acting, and directing.

He joined the Red Pen Wench team in 2023 to spearhead product development, digital content strategy, and professional partnerships. James collaborates with higher education programs, alumni groups, and professional organizations to offer job search workshops and career materials toolkits that benefit students, members, and alums at all career stages.

James holds a B.A. in English Language & Literature and a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from The University of California, Los Angeles.

Resume Writer & Marketing Strategist — Linda Romano, Ed.D.

Linda Romano, Ed.D., is a higher education marketing specialist with over two decades of experience developing and implementing integrated strategic marketing and communications plans across print materials, websites, social media, video content, emails, and media campaigns.

She joined the Red Pen Wench team in 2020 and is passionate about empowering job seekers by ensuring that their business materials tell a cohesive narrative and showcase in-demand skills and expertise. Linda holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Dartmouth College, an M.A. in Psychology from Adelphi University, an M.A. in Education Politics and Policy from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from St. John’s University.
